Bath Spa University is a leading university in creativity, culture and enterprise with 7,500 students and ranked 8th best UK modern university in 2016. Based at Newton Park in grounds designed by English landscape architect Lancelot “Capability” Brown, the campus features buildings from a mixture of ages, including listed buildings, all still used for teaching or administration. From the Grade I Listed Main House, built between 1762 and 1765, to our newest building ‘Commons’ opened in 2014. The institution can trace its roots back to the foundation of the Bath School of Art in 1852, following the impact of The Great Exhibition of 1851.
